Right in time for SLUSH we have some LUPOtastic news to share with you!
1,000+ LUPO games sold via consumer channels:
We launched our first baby LUPO: The Space Adventure, a ridiculous and creative storytelling card game, end of August 2017 with 74 pre-orders. This week, we sold the 1,000th LUPO game to consumers, mostly in the US and UK via Amazon marketplaces online. Annual run rate revenue is growing fast, this week at €200 thousand, trending to €5 million by mid-2018.
We have also forged LUPO EDU partnerships to secure school pilots in the United States, United Kingdom and India for 2018, enabling future school sales in these markets.
LUPO & Genesee Valley Educational Partnership, New York, USA:
Over the next year, we will pilot together with School Library System our card game in 22 componenten school districts located in Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston and Steuben counties in New York state. The goal of this project is to lead local classes in exploring game design as a way to promote critical thinking and creative expression of student understanding.
“LUPO’s Space Adventure will be a strong addition to our existing library of over 400 games selected for instructional use in the classrooms of the Genesee Valley region. The Space Adventure combines creative storytelling with science and community planning to create a narrative experience that can be customized by the teachers to address different areas of the curriculum.” – SLS Director Christopher Harris.
“With Christopher Harris and his team, we have found a wonderful partner that shares the same passion: unleashing student’s creativity, promoting creative expression and playful learning in order to accelerate 21st century learning. We are looking forward to work with local teachers and co-create LUPO EDU modules so they can combine The Space Adventure with a subject, topic or technology in fun and creative ways.” – Gerhard Molin, CEO / Co-Founder
